Once again Post 3258 participates, along with members of the New Britain Township, in cleaning up and restoring our Veterans monument. Click here for a slide show detailing our work.

Post 3258 supported VFW Post 11322 to build a Veterans Memorial and Honor Roll Wall at the Trumbauersville Veterans Park.

Past Events and Activities

Post 3258 was honored to have VFW member and Bucks County Sheriff-Elect Danny Ceisler speak at our monthly meeting.

We also supported and participated in the New Britain Fall Festival, which was a lot of fun.

We support other organization, such as PA Woman’s Veterans Day and the Army Heritage Center Foundation

Post 3258 actively supports other Veterans Organizations, such as our alliance with Pets for Patriots group as shown here.

Our Post visits the machine shop of John Bromiley to present a challenge coin and certificate of appreciation of his manufacturing the metal posts for grave site markers. Click here to view the pictures.

Check out our photos from the 2024 Tri-municipal parade here. Our Parade Marshal this year was Past Commander Elwood “Woody” Hippel.

Elwood "Woody" Hippel began his military career in 1966 when he enlisted in the U S Marine Corps Reserve. He later transitioned to the US Air National Guard in 1974. He was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in 1978. He rose through the ranks to eventually become a full Colonel. He was deployed to Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait and served as Executive Officer with the 111th Fighter Wing in 2001 to 2002. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he served as Director of Support for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, headquartered at Fort Indiantown Gap.
